Job Description
Perfection Fresh Australia is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Homebush, Markets. As part of the Commercial Operations department, this full-time permanent position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to contribute to our ongoing success. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Conducting electrical maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and machinery
Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues
Performing preventative maintenance tasks to ensure minimal downtime
Installing new electrical systems and equipment as required
Adhering to safety standards and regulations at all times
Collaborating with other team members and departments as necessary
The main tasks of the role include:
Responding promptly to electrical breakdowns and resolving issues efficiently
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance work undertaken
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives related to electrical systems
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Contributing to a safe working environment for all employees
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant trade qualification, demonstrated experience in industrial electrical maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. Desired Skills and Experience
Must have proven experience as a maintenance electrician in a FMCG environment
Relevant electrical trade qualification
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and wiring regulations
Experience in fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs
Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
Familiarity with PLCs and industrial control systems
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices
