Job Description


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Conduct quality assessments on incoming and outgoing products against customer specifications.
  • Conduct compliance checks in accordance with customer specifications.
  • Conduct daily product retention (incoming and EOSL) and shelf-life assessments.
  • Conduct site GMP checks to ensure that GMP, HACCP, and Food Safety are compliant.
  • Attend to administrative tasks and duties in relation to all QA documentation.
  • Conduct and record cool room temperature checks daily.
  • Escalate any issues in relation to quality and Technical principles, protocols, and processes.
  • Attend and actively participate in team meetings as required.
  • Be proactive and participate in recommending solutions to improve team performance.
  • Manage all associated tasks and priorities in a professional and timely manner.

INTERNAL CONTACTS

The position is required to communicate with:

  • QA/QC Team 
  • Shift managers
  • Category Managers
  • RDC and production staff

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Good time management and organization skills with a methodical approach to work
  • Planning skills to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment
  • Practical knowledge and experience in an operational environment
  • Demonstrated quick thinking and effective problem-solving skills
  • Work well under pressure and have the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Computer literacy in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service with the ability to build sound professional relationships
  • A positive mental attitude and optimistic approach to work
  • Flexible and adaptive with a strong willingness to learn, grow, and develop self and others
