Job Description
About the Role
As a Labourer - Night Duty, you'll be at the heart of our operations, managing both incoming and outgoing inventory with precision and timeliness. Attention to detail and efficient work are key to thriving in this role. The successful candidate must have solid experience in operating forklift and solid understanding of transport and logistics industry. You may be required to work autonomously as well as be part of a team.
This role reports to the Brisbane Distribution Centre Manager, and covers the night shift Monday to Friday between 8:00 PM - 04:00 AM.
Desired Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate inventory management.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Assist in receiving, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
Use equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts to move items efficiently.
Assist with stocktaking and administrative tasks as needed.
Communicate discrepancies with paperwork.
Skills and Experience
Forklift licence required.
Previous warehouse experience preferred.
Understanding of transport and logistics processes is a bonus.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic computer skills for data entry.
