Job Description

RECEIVALS & DESPATCH

  • Manage warehouse receivals and despatch, ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Oversee inventory, receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Produce regular reports and monitor service quality.

PLANNING AND BUYING

  • Collaborate with Buyers on supplier analysis, cost reduction, and quality control.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Develop and manage the warehouse team, ensuring efficiency.
  • Recruit, coach, and motivate employees.
  • Plan work rosters and monitor performance.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY

  • Manage and report hazards, ensuring safety standards.
  • Conduct induction training and maintain health and safety in the warehouse.

ORDER FULFILMENT

  • Oversee order fulfilment and assist with daily picking tasks.
  • Ensure stock quality and manage collection and palletizing.

GENERAL ADMINISTRATION

  • Follow standard operating procedures and participate in meetings.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
